Where to eat after kitesurfing in Jastarnia
The Puck Bay spot on ul. Polna is a few hundred metres from our door. After a session on the kite, windsurfer, wingfoil or SUP, come for fish soup, a proper burger or fish and chips – the kitchen runs until 21:00.
The bay side of Jastarnia means shallow, warm water and a steady thermal wind from May to September – which is why the kite and windsurf schools and two campsites grew up around ul. Polna, next to the old fish plant (now the Draga cabins). Elite Cafe is the nearest year-round restaurant with a real kitchen: no fried-fish stand, but fish, steaks or pierogi and dessert to finish.

Puck Bay spots – from Chałupy to Jurata
| Spot | To Elite Cafe | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Jastarnia, ul. Polna (by the old fish plant / Draga) | about 10 min on foot | kite, windsurf, wingfoil; shallow, great for learning; schools and campsites on site |
| Jastarnia, bay side of the pier | 10 min on foot | SUP, kayak, windsurf in lighter wind |
| Kuźnica | 7 km – train 8 min | kite and windsurf; wider water, fewer people |
| Chałupy (Chałupy 3, 6) | 12 km – train 15 min | the classic Polish kite spot, biggest campsites |
| Jurata | 2.5 km – bike 10 min | calmer, good for beginners and families |
Conditions change with the wind – check the forecast and rules with the school on the spot.
What we recommend after a session
- Elite Cafe fish soup (38 zł) – tomato broth with seafood; filling and warming after cold water.

- Fish and chips (58 zł) – battered fish, fries, tzatziki.
- Pancakes and an iced coffee – for waiting until the wind returns.
Practical notes for riders
- Dress code – we are a tablecloth restaurant: please change out of your wetsuit; dry sportswear is absolutely fine.
- Groups – camps and school groups: call an hour ahead and we'll set the tables. Fixed-price set menus for larger groups.
- Timing – the kitchen runs 10:00–21:00 without a break, so dinner at 18:00 after the afternoon session is no problem.
- Dogs – welcome, with a water bowl and a small dog menu.
- Parking – municipal car parks on ul. Sychty and at the harbour; vans fit at the harbour.
- No wind? – fireplace, coffee, cake and Wi-Fi while you watch the forecast.
- Languages – English and German spoken; menu in English.
